_The Elizabeth Cottage offers wonderful amenities for the independent senior woman.  The Cottage is a striking example of 19th century Gothic revival style, and is a national Historic Site.  It has operated since 1956 as an affordable, non-profit retirement home for senior women.  Each resident furnishes her own room according to her own tastes. The location is unbeatable, downtown in the heart of historic Kingston, close to book stores, theatres and the city’s best restaurants.  The Cottage is on main bus routes, close to churches, parks and hospitals, and not far from the lake.  It has its own private garden with a vegetable patch that residents enjoy throughout the summer.

Women who make The Elizabeth Cottage their home go about their lives safe in the knowledge that they can rely on 24-hour support if they need it.  They live as they choose, in an elegant environment, superbly located for the independent senior woman.
